PrideChat stands out because it is free for individual users — core features are included at no cost. Built by LGBTQ+ people for LGBTQ+ people, we prioritize inclusivity, safety, and community above all else.

PrideChat uses your device location (with your permission) to show you people nearby. You can set your preferred distance range, age preferences, and gender preferences to find the right matches. Your precise location is never shared publicly.

Passport (Travel Mode) lets you virtually teleport to any city in the world and connect with people there before you arrive. It is perfect for travellers who want to make friends or plan ahead. This feature is available to all users.

You can block or report any user directly from their profile page. When you block someone, they can no longer see your profile or send you messages. When you report a user, our moderation team reviews the report and takes appropriate action, including removal from the platform if community guidelines are violated. All reports are handled confidentially and we take every report seriously.

PrideChat includes a built-in PIN lock feature to protect your account. You can set a 4-digit PIN from the app settings. Once enabled, you will be asked to enter your PIN each time you open the app, keeping your chats and profile private even if someone else has access to your phone. You can change or disable your PIN at any time from the settings menu.

You can make your profile invisible to other users by enabling Hide Profile in the app settings — your profile will not appear in discovery or search results until you turn it back on. For location privacy, enable Hide Location to share only your general area instead of your exact position. These controls give you full flexibility over when and how you appear to others on the app.

PrideChat collects only the minimum information needed to provide the service: your basic profile details (name, age, photos, preferences), device location (with your permission), and anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. We do NOT monitor your private chats, sell your personal data, or share your information with third parties for marketing. Yes — safety is built into PrideChat from the ground up. The app includes PIN security to lock your account, blocking and reporting tools to flag inappropriate behaviour, hide profile and hide location privacy controls, and photo privacy settings. Yes, privacy is a top priority at PrideChat. Messages you send are shared only between you and your chat partner. We do not monitor, sell, or share your private conversations. Always use your best judgment when sharing personal information with others.

You can delete your PrideChat account and all associated data directly from the app settings. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Once confirmed, your profile, messages, photos, and personal information are permanently removed. Deletion cannot be undone, so please make sure before proceeding.

Yes! PrideChat is available in multiple languages including English, Thai (ภาษาไทย), and Khmer (ភាសាខ្មែរ). You can change your language preference from the app settings at any time. More languages will be added in future updates.

You can invite friends to PrideChat and earn rewards through our referral programme. Find your unique referral code or link in the app settings. When a friend signs up using your referral link, both you and your friend receive a reward. Referral details and current rewards are always visible in the app.
